GGSB3 | PROSTHETIC LEG

GGSB3 | PROSTHETIC LEG
project, developed in collaboration with Riccardo Andreoni, Andrea Braggion, Licia Cerrito and Elisa Manzato,
during one of our laboratory exam.

A lower limb prosthesis has the fundamental purpose of making an amputee walk, but the prostheses currently available on the market have high prices, not accessible to everyone. GGSB3 was designed to solve this problem.
The prototype was designed with the possible addition of a gas spring which, connected to the knee, would facilitate walking, cushioning the step thanks to its capacity to returns a thrust proportional to the weight to be lifted or moved.
